Sara and Lisa's Room

So, Olivia's new classroom has a blog! I've put a link to it on the blog list to the right. I've decided to be positive about this transition. One, I am really lucky to have been able to take off 12 weeks to spend all my time with Olivia. I know that a lot of people don't have that opportunity, and I am really grateful for this time. Two, I know that Sara and Lisa, Olivia's new teachers are going to love her and know a lot more about child development than I do. So, they will be doing all the right things with her while she is there. Three, I am only going back 75% time, so that means that I am still going to have more time with Olivia than most working moms. I am very grateful to have a boss and a job that will allow this.

Just for entertainment sake, here is another picture of Olivia in yet another outfit. She looks so big!! She's taking a nap in her crib, which we are going to have to get her used to since she is rapidly getting near the 15 lb limit of the bassinet. I think we have no more than a month before she reaches that 15 lb mark.



And Olivia and I took the dogs to the vet today. It was outrageously expensive just for their yearly shots--like $500!!!! I am finding a new vet. Seriously. Here they are sunning themselves in the backyard.
