This is Olivia in the sea of our king bed looking at the ceiling fan. She just looks so funny on it that I had to take a picture.
I got an email today from the daycare about "transition days." These are days for us to bring in Olivia so she can get used to the area while we are there. Ugh!! I'm not looking forward to it. I think these "transition days" will be more for me than for her! The dates are 07/26 9:30-11, 07/27 9:30-11:45 & 2-3, and 07/28 8-12. We'll probably do the first day and get it over with. I am NOT looking forward to leaving her. I need to get a better attitude! My plan for leaving her once a week to go to a yoga class has not panned out, and I don't even feel like doing it. I know I should, but since my time is passing so quickly, I don't want to give any of it up!

ReplyDeleteAll transitions are hard, but you can do it! It's definitely more for you than for her at this stage. Maybe you should do all the transition days, but start with a shorter time and build up. And give yourself something specific to do, so that you can have something to anticipate and focus on while you miss her. It's just another challenge of parenting. You had some already and met them with success, you will have thousands more and meet them with success too!
