Jason is 8!!

 Wow! Our baby is eight! Second grade has been good for Jason and he continues to work hard in school and in sports. Right now, Jason loves soccer, playing with friends, Legos, playing Rummy, and video games--particularly FIFA on the Switch, but also Plants vs. Zombies with Leo and Luke. Jason is into figuring things out--he enjoys reading mysteries like BoxCar Children and fixing things he sees that are broken like the swing on our swingset. Jason often spends hours playing with friends in the cul-de-sac or rides over to a friend's house after school.

For Jason's birthday, we went to Galaxy Fun Park on MLK day, had cookies with his class at recess, had Boston Creme Pie as a family, and had neighbors over for Rice Krispie treats...all spread out over a week!
