Tracking in and Easter

We tracked in on Saturday, March 24 for a half day make up day. There isn’t much to report. It’s hard going back to school, but the half day was nice.

Jason went to school one day last week for his Easter egg hunt and bunny hop. He wasn’t into the bunny hop, but he looked cute!

And this was Jason before school with me playing play doh! He loves play doh!

Then, he started spring break, which continues until this Monday.

The big kids had the Friday before easter off, and we just hung out at home at their request. Tracking in is no joke! We dyed our Easter eggs then.

Our friend Juliet and her kids stopped through on their way to the beach on Saturday morning and we got a little hiking in. It was so fun to see all the kids together!

Saturday afternoon the neighborhood ladies did the annual egg hunt and it was a blast! My pictures were few and not good quality, but we had a great time partying with the block!

Sunday after the excitement of Easter baskets wore off, we went to the zoo! We had a great time feeding giraffes and getting so close to a polar bear and seals!

This week has been Jason’s spring break, so we went to Pullen Park Monday.

Jason had a babysitter Tuesday and Thursday in the mornings while I worked. On Wednesday, we celebrated my friend’s birthday with a shopping trip and going out to lunch. On Friday, we went to Jordan lake and played in the water and sand with friends! Jason loved it!

  1. How fun to have friends in. I cannot believe it is shorts weather there!! I also can't believe how close those giraffes were. That's crazy! Thanks for the pictures!
