I don't think that I ever posted about how much I love not being pregnant. I complained a lot about being pregnant, but I didn't follow up with some reasons it's nice not to be pregnant.
First, and foremost, of course is that now I am not waiting on my baby, I have my sweet girl!
I can sleep on my stomach! Hooray!
I can drink Coke Zero with no guilt, eat popcorn for dinner with little guilt, and only get four or five fruits and veggies a day instead of trying to get nine!!
Regular clothes! Maternity wear is crap.
Not being tired all the time...well, I kind of am that since I am spread a little thin with work and baby, but, you get the idea.
I baked bread using Mom's recipe today. It turned out well! I gave those two loaves away as "Thank you" gifts with honey. Tonight I have a batch mixed up with oatmeal in it. I am hoping it turns out as well.
I am working on a smaller shadowbox with Olivia's sunglasses in them. This is the picture I am going to use.
I received the
Boden catalog in the mail today for the first time. I am in love! Actually, I am lusting after
this swimsuit in brown and
this dress in blue. Honey, those would make VERY good mother's day gifts! Hint, hint!

ReplyDeleteHaha....I knew you would love Boden. When I read that you got the catalog -- I knew it would become a favorite. I am always trying to "copy" the style...they do fall so nicely as well. Oh...how I can not wait to actually have some money to go shopping. It has been so long....hence why we have discussed falling off the style bandwagon.
