On Monday when I spoke with Dr. Chwe, he asked if I had felt the baby move. I said that I wasn't sure if I had felt the baby move or if I was just feeling digestion. He suggested that if I was anxious to feel it, I could drink a little caffeine and then pay attention. Tuesday, I did that. And I felt the baby kick! It felt, to me, like a little flick from the inside. It happened once, and then again and again for about an hour. It was amazing!!!
Nicholas turned 30 on Saturday, and (brother) Wilson, his wife Beki, and their three kids Christopher, Madeline, and Wilson stopped to visit. Here are some pictures.
Also, I picked up the rest of the slipcovers for the dining room on Monday. Love them!
And, last, but not least, we put up our Christmas tree--the artificial one that I bought on Black Friday morning!

ReplyDeleteI'm very impressed that you've felt the baby already! That's about a month and a half earlier than most new and even repeat moms!
ReplyDeleteNo way! I thought it was around 20 weeks that new moms felt it and 16 weeks for repeat. I figured I was in the middle.
ReplyDeleteI love the dining room! The furniture looks great in there. I can see the china cabinet in the mirror, too. The chairs and curtains look formal, yet inviting. Grandma would have approved.... Where did the piano go?
