The past week has been pretty uneventful in a good way. I haven't vomited since Thursday, and although I was premature in thinking that the nausea was over, at least it has subsided. I've only heaved a few times. The evenings are still the worst for me as far as nausea goes. But, I am back to cooking and Nicholas and I are eating better again.
Other things I haven't yet written about:
1. My fingernails and toenails are super strong and grow even more quickly now than pre-pregnancy.
2. My hair seems to fall out just as normal. I was expecting thicker, luscious hair (since that's what the books say), but it seems pretty normal to me; the same amount is in the drain at the end of a shower.
3. My complexion is worse than pre-pregnancy. I've heard about and read about women who "glow" with radiance. I've just broken out and gotten more oily. That's in the books, too, but people (at least I) tend to skip that part.
4. I am mostly in maternity (or empire-waist) tops at work, even though I am still just under or at (depending on the day) my pre-pregnancy weight. My work pants are more fitted, and thus need to be unbuttoned (requiring the longer top to cover). I can still wear regular tops with my jeans, though, since they sit lower.
5. At the end of my evening dog walk, my belly looks really big to me. I think the gravity from the day and the slight pounding from the walk makes me feel really heavy and swollen. I've noticed my ankles a little swollen after walking, but it goes away if I put my feet up for about 15 minutes when I get back.
6. I am still pretty tired. I am trying not to take a nap after work since the time change makes dusk so early, and now I walk the dogs in the dark in the morning and at night. So, my bedtime is very early! Actually, I think I am past it now!!

I'm glad the nausea is getting better. Small meals, aka grazing, throughout the day seemed to work for me. I was always most sick from 4 pm on too.
