Another week in paradise!

Did I tell you that we planted a little garden?! A couple of blueberry bushes, some green beans, cucumbers, one cherry tomato and zinnias!  It’s coming up!

Jason’s sweet friend Rhett had a fun “superhero birthday party in the street!”

And we got the hammock out!

Then the big school fundraiser I have been helping with happened Friday. It went well!

Friday Nicholas and Leo went to spring outing for Y Guides! They had fun!

While they were gone, Jason and I went to Family Fun Day at his school on Saturday morning!

And we had Olivia’s birthday “party” on Saturday afternoon, which was Jellybeans roller skating and a sleepover with her friend Mallory. Add pizza and a cookie cake, and they had a great time!

I love our cul-de-sac! Sunday afternoon fun!

We’ve been enjoying playing outside and being busy with school and work!

Leo started teaching Mutti how to play Minecraft! What kick he got out of this and what patience she showed!

Jason’s spring break started, too, so we’ve been playing a bit more! I forgot how much he loves to dress up!

Easter morning!

After so much candy and sticky buns, we went for a bike ride with a few stops—the nature trail at school, the elementary playground, and the park across the street, which made about a 3.5 mile loop. The kids did great! Even Jason!

Can’t catch up, so I am starting again!

I missed posting about most of March, but here is the tail end up to today!

We had a beach day with Nicholas on the last Friday of track out! It was awesome!! We left about nine. Arrived at the beach around 11:30. Ate lunch on the deck of a restaurant overlooking the ocean.

We hit the beach for several hours and flew kites, ran into the surf, dug holes, and just played! It was magical how the kids got along, the sun shone, and we were just together!

Then we ate out again for dinner, which the kiddos LOVED! I can hear the giggling!

Olivia and Nicholas ran a 5K on Saturday, April 5 and did great!

Jason had his nursery rhyme performance last week:

And enjoyed the warm weather with the kids after school!

I have been pulling Leo and five other kids from his class for enrichment on Wednesdays 


And we went to the neighborhood Easter egg hunt on Sunday:

Jason has an Easter egg hunt at school today along with a hop-a-thon!
