December 2018 to January 2019

The rest of December passed in a haze of all of us being at home. I love that Nicholas saves these vacation days so we can all be together then! We played a lot at home, the kids had play dates, Nicholas and I watched movies after the kids went to bed, he finished the ramp in the garage, and we did a few outings:

To the library on bikes:

Out to lunch:

To BounceU for open bounce:

Ice skating:

Olivia and her friend Mallory have the sweetest imaginations! When I went to our ditch in the backyard to pick up Olivia’s cup, I found this little setting:

They have lots of fun. Leo and his friends have been building a stick fort in the side of the house and are always picking up sticks for so many uses.

New Year’s Eve was spent at home, which I prefer since the kids went back to school January 2. Here we are counting down at 6 PM.

We got all the Christmas deco put away before the kids went back to school, and track in went smoothly.

Jason has his tubes put in and his adenoids taken out in January 4. It was rough for him and he had fever for several days. He’s much better now, though.

Leo had an abscess and had a baby tooth pulled the following Tuesday. But, he also feels better and is always out shooting hoops!

Jason and I hit a new bounce place with friends last week:

Olivia is so grown up and has so much of a life outside us, that I realize I have few pictures—of Run club, of daily play dates that she bikes to, of homework and school. She did have an orthodontist consult this week, and she may be getting a retainer soon... (I was mortified that Olivia was wearing these pants to the orthodontist with so many holes!!!)

Life is good!
