Olivia's preschool graduation

Wow! Olivia is finished with preschool!! Five classes graduated Thursday and put on a cute program. After announcing all the graduates individually and giving out the diplomas, the kids sang about five songs and did a super cute job! After that we had cookies in Olivia's classroom and went out to Chick-fil-a as a special treat!

Miss Amy and Miss Lori did a fabulous job this year! Olivia loved them both and learned so much!

Jason is four months!!

Jason turned four months on Wednesday! He also had his four-month well visit that day. He weighs 16 lbs. 10 oz., is 25 inches long, and is in great health! He is rolling over from belly to back, babbling a lot, blowing raspberries, and generally just being a great baby! 

The next day, we tried a little solid food! Just some oatmeal with breast milk, but Jason wasn't into it! We'll try again next week.

We had four month pictures taken, but I wasn't pleased with them. Here are my two favorites!

Mutti and Jeffery's visit

Mutti  and Jeffery came to visit last weekend, and we had a great time hanging out with them! Mutti brought lots of presents for Olivia's birthday, and even water guns for the kids to play with! Olivia's favorite present was the unicorn helmet! We are already looking forward to the next visit!

Olivia is five!

I can hardly believe my girl is five! Look how much this sweet pea has grown!

On Wednesday I took Olivia to get her nails done! She was a little under the weather, as we are all fighting head colds.

On Thursday morning, her birthday, this was the scene at our house! Nicholas took the day off to put her make-up table together that he built and have a special lunch out!

Saturday we had her big birthday party at a bounce place called Bounce U. All the kids had a blast, and I was especially proud of Olivia's behavior welcoming everyone and thanking them at the end!

Keeping on

The kids keep growing up and we keep keeping on! I had my hair all cut off last Wednesday since I just can't deal with everything and fixing long, hot hair! I love it, and the kids weren't phased. Jason hung in there while I had it done!

We hit Pullen Park for the first time that afternoon and Olivia made it up the climbing thing to the first seat for the first time--she was thrilled!

Leo and Olivia found a cool Magnolia with lots of exposed roots, and played there for forty five minutes! Leo loved all the "rooms!"

Jason is growing up and is getting even more fun! He is playing with toys and "talking" more.

Friday the kids were off school, so we went to Marbles with our friends. They played so nicely together! Jason slept and played in the Bjorne. He is getting less able to sleep on me because he is getting more aware, so I am going to have to step up my game!

Saturday we had some family time and played outside a lot! We also watched the Derby together, a throwback to my childhood!

Sunday we went to the Durham Museum of Life + Science and had a blast with my Clemson friends Lisa and Jay and his family!

Monday and Tuesday we played more at Ritter park and outside on the street! Jason is starting to sit up!

And Jason got his first tooth Sunday--at three months! A new record for Kraft kids!

Grandma and Grandpa visit, April 2014

Grandma and Grandpa came to visit Tuesday through Thursday, and we were all thrilled to see them!! I hadn't seen Dad since July 2014, so the visit was extra sweet for us!

Mom brought me these beautiful lilacs, which she knows are my favorite flower. Grandma Clara sent homemade bread and plant starts--tomatoes, peppers, and some others. Dad brought some Christmas dishes I had asked for.

After getting the tour of the house and seeing the big kids bike, Dad took us out to Red Robin for dinner. The next day Mom took the kids to school, Dad helped me clean up the house, and I got a nap!! We hit Lake Wheeler in the afternoon for the first time this season.

After Mom and Dad took a break at their hotel, they came back to be free babysitters for the big kids while Nicholas and I checked out Honey Tupelo Cafe. It was delicious, and Jason slept through most of our date!

Thursday morning Mom and Dad watched Leo while I went to Mommy and Me day for Olivia's school. It was so cute!! I almost cried with the songs the class sang!

After having lunch with Grandma and Grandpa and taking a few photos of "the third children" they hit the road for home. We had a great visit!! Hopefully, the first of many!

Leo's progress

Leo has been doing SO well with his potty training that we started with conviction the Thursday before Easter. There have been accidents, of course, but much more good progress. He can go in a public restroom now, standing up, and outside. He still hasn't mastered number two, but we are getting there. He asks for a diaper most of the time, and we give it to him per the instructions from our pediatrician, who says withholding is a big problem we don't want to deal with. Leo is now often telling us when he needs to go pee, instead of us reminding him. (We started out with a timer and him going every 45 minutes!)
