Leo's certificate ceremony

Leo had his certificate ceremony on May 20 completing his 3PK year. Wow!! Look at this big boy!

His first day of school picture on left, and last day of school on right.

Leo really did have a great year. He can write his name better, he can cut with a sissors well, his coloring has improved, but most importantly he almost always liked going to school and made good friends this year!

His end of year program was precious and I cried!! They sang songs he kept a surprise from me including "You are my Sunshine," "I am going to do my Best," and something about all their body parts which was hilarious! Leo was into them and did all the motions and sang along.

Leo and his teacher Ms. Heather, who he loved! He was pretty sure she lived at school! I love his innocence!

Leo and his friend, Danny.

Celebrating at Chick-fil-a for dinner for another great school year!

Mutti came to visit!!

Y'all, Mutti is amazing! Can you imagine raising two rowdy boys all the while being in a wheelchair? She continues to be an amazing grandma to my three making the nine and a half hour trip from Louisville on her own. I'm so glad she did! We had a great visit! Nicholas took off Monday and Tuesday to hang out with all of us. Lots of playing and visiting and eating and laughing!

Olivia rarely left her alone!

Tuesday we picked Olivia up early from school and went out for a stroll around a lake and then for ice cream! Yum! Perfect weather for it!

Goodberry's frozen custard is GOOD!

One afternoon we  broke out the play dough  and it was madness, of course! They all love it!

And while Mutti was here Olivia started swim team!! Yay to four practices a week and Olivia being totally up for it! Since the practices are at the pool in our neighborhood we can walk to, it's no problem!

Olivia has the braid!

I love this man

I love this man, and not just because he is a great dad and helps me with the chores and keeps us all sane, but because he's a good partner in this crazy life and nice to talk to at the end of the day and he gets what I am saying about kids or work or friends or family and feels my struggles. End of run on sentence. Also, I miss him acutely when he is away. This is night four of six putting to bed all three kiddos by myself. The newness has worn off.

Yes! He's vacuuming! As he does almost every night after dinner when he is cleaning up! Hubba hubba!

Olivia is six!!

Our sweet girl is six years old! She is growing up so fast--reading independently, full of confidence for school tasks, and running, climbing, biking, and riding her scooter fearlessly. It amazes (and scares) me that she has this whole little life at school we don't know about! She is a little love bug, requesting and getting at least eight hugs a day! She thrives on attention, but often plays independently with her toys/books/writing. She likes for us to read to her a lot--some chapter books, some non-fiction animal books, and still some picture books. She is a great big sister, but sometimes a sassy one. She is growing physically so much! She weighs 50 lbs already and is 47.75 inches tall! She is a great eater--she eats more fruit and veggies than I do, and tomatoes are one of her favorite foods. She is signed up for summer swim team at the pool on our neighborhood, but isn't in any other organized sports right now. She finishes Kindergarten June 3.

Here are some recent photos:

Climbing trees--

Getting some sun!

Inviting a boy to lunch bunch with us!

Being "Vicky Violet" in the school Letterland parade--

Riding bike in the street!

The birthday girl!

She had a super fun Derby-themed birthday party on Saturday! We made hats and horse necklaces, watched the Derby on TouTube, and had a dance party!

And out to Red Robin afterwards! I didn't get a good photo of Olivia there, but Nicholas and Leo had a cute photo!

Leo's May 2015 update

This kid! Leo is growing up and becoming a boy so fast! In the past six months or so he has really become aware of "boy" toys, games, and activities. He continues to love Legos-even played with some random Legos at a festival instead of playing games for half an hour. He longed for our neighbor's light saber, and finally got one! He LOVES sweets and other junk even more so than the others. And he is into the makeshift now and arrow I made him!

He was absolutely adorable at his Mother's Day celebration at his preschool two weeks ago!

And it was wonderful to have some one on one time with him afterwards--he picked a nature walk and throwing stuff into the creek:

Leo is super smart--can count to one hundred, can write his name, and comes up with some hilarious stories! He loves superheroes, Batman especially. We read those books, but haven't seen the shows/movies as we think he is still too young.

Leo loves his siblings and often asks for a hug from Jason in the morning and before bed. I heard him talking to Olivia the other day and heard him say, "Olivia when we grow up, let's live in this house all by ourselves!"

Jason's April 2015 update

Jason is 15 months!! He had a good check up April 21: he's in the 50 percentile for height and about the 80th for weight. He's still not talking much, but has other communication like a few signs, pointing, following commands very well. His motor skills are outstanding: he climbs up and down stairs, walks well, uses a fork and spoon, drinks from a cup, climbs onto and off the couch, can climb the jungle gym at the playground and go down the slide on his tummy feet first. I have tried to get videos of these things, but haven't quite.

Jason has a small indentation on his back that the pediatrician referred us to a dermatologist about. It was nothing, the dermatologist thinks. I opted not to be aggressive and have it biopsied. She figures is was some damage in utero that he will eventually grow out of. It is very subtle. I noticed it before his 12 month appointment and the pediatrician and I just watched it between then an now. We have a six month follow up with the dermatologist.

Looking at the fish while waiting for his well visit:

After his appointment looking at the ducks at Pullen Park:

Jason loves to swing!

He also wants to be a big boy! He wants to sit in the kitchen table bench with the big kids for snack time.

Playing in the water and sun!

Enjoying a sweet! The benefit of being the third child!

Jason loves music, being read to, playing hide and seek, playing chase, and giving hugs! He is a super sweet kiddo! And he is the first Kraft kid to sleep though the night at one!! He did it Thursday night and Friday night! We are down to nursing three times a day--right away in the morning, before nap around 10:30 or 11, and before bed around 6:30 or 7. He's growing up SO fast! He has THE MOST HILARIOUS LAUGH that is deep and shocking coming from a baby! Again, I haven't quite been able to get it on film!

Here's a little dancing for you non-Facebook users!
