Jason is five months old already!

Super cute Jason photos that may be Facebook repeats for the grandparents!

Jason is starting to eat and love "solid" foods! Seen here eating BBQ! (Ha! He wishes! That's prunes!)

Jason also loves playing peek-a-boo and chewing on EVERYTHING, including this orange bowl!

This is his serious, "give me the phone" face!

And his cute, "I am learning to jump" face!

Stealing some cherries...

Working with Mommy!

He is rolling from back to front and front to back, trying to move his arms to crawl, but not quite moving. He is pulling himself into sitting when laying back in his bouncy chair. He likes being read to and sung to. He imitates some sounds and can be heard saying "mmm", "ga", "ba", "aaah" and blowing raspberries. He sleeps horribly and will not take a paci with any reliability. He naps on me or in his car seat, but no where else. It's a good thing he's cute!

Happy Father's Day

Look at the love you've made, Daddy!

(Jason is in blue and green, Leo is in orange and yellow, and Olivia is in pink and purple.)

Visitors!

Over the weekend of the 13th, our friends Juliet and Tony came into town and spent the day with us on Saturday! We had fun playing at the pool--swimming, sliding, and snacking! You'll see by the lack of pictures I took that we had a fun time! Juliet and I snuck off for dinner with Jason while the rest of the crew at delivered pizza and watched Cars 2! Love our husbands for letting us catch up!

Sunday, my friend Lisa came over for Pool, round 2! Again, we had a great time!

Leo enjoying the pool! It gets SO hot that we bought him a clip-on fan!

Uncle Chuck came down last weekend from Thursday through Sunday to meet Jason, play with the kids, and catch up with us! "Uncle" as the kids called him, got a work-out the whole time since Olivia and Leo were totally into playing with him every. second. He was a good sport!

We did Marbles on Friday...

And the pool on Saturday...

Plus Red Robin for dinner!

Frozen ballet camp

Olivia had Frozen ballet camp last week, and had a blast! She went 9:30-12 Monday through Friday, and was really excited to go each day. Since I didn't allow the kids to have any special extra curricular activities this spring since we were transitioning to being a family of five, Olivia hadn't been in a real ballet studio in over a year...although she had some lessons in the fall through a gym. Olivia looked cute each day in her leotard, and had a sweet performance on the last day! I was so proud of her for making friends in a group where she knew no one, and having lots of fun on her own!

A little piece of the country

Starts for the vegetable garden were from Grandma Clara! We have five tomatoes, two peppers, a sweet potato, parsley, cilantro, basil, and Rosemary.

Plus, the zinnias I planted this spring are starting to bloom!! And the hibiscus in the planters are continuing to bloom!

Myrtle beach trip, 2015

Day 1:

Can't wait for check in to get in the ocean!

More fun after getting into our suits!

Day 2:

Beautiful weather--great for learning to boogie board, making sand castles, and swimming!

The lazy rivers, water park, and slides at our hotel were also a hit!

Day 3:

Some rain and some sun--more beach and pool fun plus an evening trip to the boardwalk!

We did the very high Ferris wheel, and I was pleasantly surprised at how brave the kids were!

The pool is open!

The pool in our neighborhood opened the Saturday of Memorial Day and the kids were thrilled! We've been there most days since it opened!

I have managed taking all three on my own during weekday afternoons when it's not been crowded. The kids have been really good listeners since they want to go back the next day!!

Jason doesn't get in while we arethere because he alternates between needing to sleep and eat, and the water isn't that warm. I have just held him at my chest while playing with the big kids in the pool. Leo loves his puddle jumper and every time he gets in says, "I'm not sinking!!" Olivia starts swimming lessons tomorrow at the pool and I think she is ready, as she is going all the way under and sort of swimming across the pool. Hooray for the start of summer! It is already going fast!
