The first Easter egg hunt

Was today in our neighborhood. Two hundred and fifty eggs on the tennis courts for the little ones, and by the time we made it up there...only about a minute since we took the walking path instead of through the trees...there were none left. Thankfully, Olivia didn't care since she didn't know that is what we were there for. One of her friends gave her an empty egg and she was thrilled. See pictures:

Looking back at the tennis courts with our one egg:

And loving it! We stayed for a while and talked with other people in the neighborhood. There were at least 60 kids there plus lots of parents. The association had bubbles for everyone, which Olivia loves. We also played on the slide, which Olivia loves!

  1. We were (significantly) late to our neighborhood egg hunt yesterday, but our Easter bunny was smarter. They hid empty eggs which the kids traded in for candy. So Pa (in town with Mimi for John's Easter break) hid some eggs and BFF James obligingly shared a couple of pieces of candy.
