Happy New Year!!

What I didn't say in the last post was that Olivia and I missed Nicholas a lot during our time in Indiana without him. I know that he missed us, too. Since we've been back together again, he has been doting on both of us. So, I want to thank Nicholas for being so helpful lately and for loving us so much all the time. Here is the latest project, which took months to gather the goods for, Nicholas and I finished together:




We finished just in time for New Year's Eve. (I got the idea here, and have been wanting to do it for years.) Olivia didn't make it up that late (thank goodness!), but we had four of our friends in for food, games, and champagne at midnight. We played Carcassonne, Clue, and Scrabble. We had lots of fun! Here is our Scrabble board at the end:



And not to leave out Olivia, the weather here has been unseasonable warm. Olivia and I walked in the 72 degree afternoon yesterday. I am switching to the jogging stroller since she is bigger now and fits in better. Look how big she is getting!
